Since the early days of URBAN AUDIO, a number of different instruments have been designed, built and tested. Over the years, the sound quality of the instruments has constantly improved.

The URBAN AUDIO instruments
Currently URBAN AUDIO is working with a set of 7 instruments (6 Z_Units and 1 Z_Bass). These stringed instruments have been specially designed and build for the purpose of URBAN AUDIO projects.
The strings inside the intruments are set to vibrate by ambient noise. The string-vibrations are registered and amplified. This generates a musical translation of the initial ambient noise. Wireless signal transmission allows the instruments to be situated in a radius of up to 50 Meters around the URBAN AUDIO Van.
